“The Summer STEM camp sponsored by Gentleman’s Quest of Tampa (FL) was a demonstration of collaboration, perseverance, and creativity. The unique opportunity for the young men to work with robotics, coding, and arts to solve real-life community industrial problems opened a new world of experience for these young men. These experiences will serve them well as they forge a pathway towards college/career readiness. The invitation to witness and reflect on the participants’ project-based solutions gave me and the panel a glimpse into our future and how this program is helping to mold its young men! As a parent and educator, I am grateful that there are programs like Gentlemen’s Quest willing to stretch our youth beyond their comfort zones and I wish them the best in their future endeavors.”
