STEM Quest Program

STEM Quest is a cross-curricular program that allows youth to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The program provides a creative space that teaches hard skills for future STEM careers in a fun and engaging setting. Such programs foster valuable 21st-century life skills, such as critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaboration on their quest to complete STEM based challenges.

Participants engage in a project-based program that will provide students the opportunity to increase their math proficiency, while exploring various careers. Additionally, students will increase their writing skills through developing a persuasive writing argument that will be presented in the capstone project. STEM Quest is supported with proven curriculum and experienced industry professionals that are passionate about technology and community empowerment.

“I can honestly say that the STEM Quest Community Showcase has been one of my top highlights since being elected. The young men had such creative ideas and the presentations were incredible. I can envision some of their ideas becoming very marketable and profitable. It was truly awesome and incredible that they created these concepts in such a short time period.”

“The Summer STEM camp sponsored by Gentleman’s Quest of Tampa (FL) was a demonstration of collaboration, perseverance, and creativity. The unique opportunity for the young men to work with robotics, coding, and arts to solve real-life community industrial problems opened a new world of experience for these young men. These experiences will serve them well as they forge a pathway towards college/career readiness. The invitation to witness and reflect on the participants’ project-based solutions gave me and the panel a glimpse into our future and how this program is helping to mold its young men! As a parent and educator, I am grateful that there are programs like Gentlemen’s Quest willing to stretch our youth beyond their comfort zones and I wish them the best in their future endeavors.”

“The students, during the STEM presentations, demonstrated their ability to solve real-world problems by being exposed to project-based learning with STEM as the focus. This style of learning has a tremendous impact on the overall development of students to grow academically because they are exposed to making connections between science, technology, engineering, and math.”
